When browsing on the internet there are a number of things which have been written by another person or organisation. To protect their work authors put copyright on their work to prevent people from copying it. People are often unaware of such copyright laws and directly copy others work. How can we use other people information in our own work? you may ask. As students will discover, authors work needs to be referenced to, if they wish to use it. The Authors name and the site which the information originated from should also be stated. One effective way of gathering resources is to use a Creative commons. What is a creative commons you may ask? The image located on this post has been sourced from a creative commons. The picture has a direct link to the original source and the name of the author. Students can use similar creative commons to search for information and pictures. All resources which may be useful to you will be located on my blog.
